Brazilian jiu-jitsu arised through techniques, which arised from judo. Brazilian jitsu-jitsu (BJJ) is primarily fighting on the floor and in the fight is used jointlocks and chokinggrip for the purpose to appease the opponent.

jiu-jitsu is based on the principal that a small person stands equal against a bigger person in a fair fight simply, because it is the technical skills that counts.
